Health Insurance Fund, World Orphan Drug Congress, Rare Diseases, Orphan drugs, Pharmaceutical Industry The Health Insurance Fund focuses on access to insure fully subsidized treatment for rare diseases. In the end of 2011, they announced an 8% increase in its budget for 2012.

Biotechnology companies and the pharmaceutical industry are investing in innovative technologies for orphan drugs in order to help the easy and early access to treatment, and every initiative is welcome.
