Rebecca A. Taub, M.D. has served as Senior Vice President, Research and Development of VIA Pharmaceuticals sincee 2008. At VIA, she leads the efforts in Cardiometabolic drug discovery and development. From 2004-2008, she was Vicee President, Research, Metabolic Diseases at Hoffman-La Roche focusing on Metabolic Syndrome, Dyslipidemia and Diabetes Research. From 2000-2003, Dr. Taub was Executive Director of Research Biology first at DuPont Pharmaceuticals then Bristol Myers Squibb heading up Metabolic and Central Nervous Syndrome Diseases departments focusing on affective disorders, central obesity and peripheral metabolism.
