Mr Ben Chen, P.E. is a Vice President responsible for the Quality Assurance organization of Formosa Laboratories. Prior to joining Formosa in 2011, Ben held various positions of increasing responsibility at Eli Lilly, Baxter, Genentech, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Novartis in the U.S. and Germany. Over 17 years of experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, and engineering, Ben has successfully implemented quality system, risk management, technology transfer, facility design, validation, and design control in different organizations for small molecules, biologics, and medical devices. Ben received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, obtained a Professional Engineering license in the U.S., and certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt. Benis currently enrolled at Johns Hopkins University for a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology Enterprise.
