Our featured speaker for this post is Mr Sam Zhou, Head of Security for Asia Region, Sanofi-Aventis, China. He will be speaking at Pharma & Biotech Supply Chain Asia 2012, part of a series of conferences at the 5th Annual BioPharma Asia Convention 2012, held on 19-22 March at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
A brief introduction: Mr. Sam Zhou joined Sanofi Greater China in June 2007 as the Regional Corporate Security Director to play a lead role in overseeing the companyÂs IPR management and anti-counterfeit strategy design and implementation. A key component to that strategy is working with all level stakeholders of industry partners, governmental agencies as well as internal Sanofi-Aventis business and functional units globally. Mr Zhou has ten years of experiences in Corporate Security and intellectual property rights (“”IIPR””)) policy and enforcement having been responsible for Nokia Corporation’s IPR Asset Management & Protection in the Greater China region. Prior to Nokia, Sam served six years for DaimlerChrysler Northeast Asia’s IP policy and Brand Protection.
Mr Zhou has earned his degree in International Trade from UIBE (the University of International Business & Economics), and later received his Masters Finance degree from the School of Economics of Peking University. He is currently based in Shanghai, the regional head office of Sanofi Asia region
