Our featured speaker for today is Mr Larry Ajuwon, Senior Outsourcing, Genzyme, The Netherlands. He will be speaking at Pharma Trials World Asia 2012, part of a series of conferences at the 5th Annual BioPharma Asia Convention 2012.
A brief introduction to start with: In his current role, Mr Ajuwon negotiates and manages contracts and collaborations for clinical development teams covering Europe, MENA and India. He joined the pharmaceutical industry in 2000, starting in Clinical Data Management at Smithkline Beecham/GSK, Wyeth (UK) and was later drafted to Clinical Contracting/Outsourcing at Pfizer (Spain). He is an analytical Chemist by training and has worked in the laboratories of CocaCola, Technicolor and Johnson Mathey from 1998-2000 to assay soft drinks, chemicals and precious metals. Mr Ajuwon graduated from the University of London and took a post graduate study in Cooperative Strategy. He is currently a member of the International Association of Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM), PCMG and is a Certified Project Management Professional. Mr Ajuwon is also a strong supporter of drug development projects for neglected diseases with his involvement in euSEND, European Solutions Enterprise for Neglected Diseases, a Netherlands based Public Private Partnership.
