Presenting on the above is Dr Hans-Martin Mueller, Associate Director, Biotech Development, Merck, Switzerland. He will be speaking at Biologic Manufacturing World Asia 2012, part of a series of conferences in the 5th Annual BioPharma Asia Convention 2012, held on 19-22 March at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
Dr Hans-Martin Mueller, PhD, Biotech Engineer, worked on both sides: As a contractor and as a contracting client in the Biotech industry. He began his career in a cell culture biotech startup company in Berlin. Subsequently he joined a global CRO (RCC Basel, today: Harlan Labs) where he worked as a GLP study director for big pharma and big agro clients for several years. In this role he finally became a key-account for important U.S.-based contracting clients. He then took up leading positions in Schering-Plough's Biotech Development Division in Switzerland. Thereafter he became the Global Head of the Biotech GMP Labs. He currently leads the global development teams for new entities from early clinical phases to commercialization. Dr Muelleris now part of Merck's Biologics Development Organization in the U.S.
