In the past few years, the pharma market in Venezuela has been growing. They have the highest per capita consumption of medicines than any other Latin American country, followed by Mexico.
In 2011, the Venezuelan economy grew 4.0%. This was primarily due to the increase in both private and public consumer spending and gross fixed capital formation.
