August 2nd 2013 marked the opening of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Dry Powder Media (DPM) manufacturing facility in Singapore. Dry powder media is a critical raw material used to manufacture biologics, including vaccines and anti-cancer therapeutics.
The DPM facility is a 2,861 square meter facility, which mirrors the functionality and quality systems used in the United States. The new manufacturing site offers a secondary location for the production of HyClone dry powder media products, establishes a secure and reliable supply chain for global biopharma companies, and serves as an additional global logistics hub for distribution to Asia Pacific customers.
Come join us for a tour of the recently opened Thermo Fisher Scientific DPM manufacturing facility located in Singapore! The facility is in close proximity to the Tuas Biomedical Park – home to many multinational biopharma companies including Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Roche and Lonza.
