How to increase your chances of securing funds for your cell therapy

securing funds cell therapy

Are you seeking investment to further fund your cell therapy research and development? Or perhaps you are looking for finance in order to commercialise and gain market access? Whatever the motivation, Terrapinn’s Investor Forum can help you move your business forward, closer to those patients who need your therapy the most, but act now as time is running out to register!

The World Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine Congress, whilst celebrating its 10th anniversary, will play host to the inaugural Investor Forum – a one day gathering of leading life sciences financiers and investors as well a host of SME biotechs to discuss and debate the current, and future, economic status of the cell therapy industry.

Derek Cavanagh, Project Director of World Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine Congress 2015 commented that the Investor Forum “is a brilliant opportunity for both companies seeking funding as well as investors looking to entrust capital, to come together to do business. The legacy of the World Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine Congress will support this platform which is aimed at fostering the cell therapy space and creating profitable and commercially-viable business prospects. We are very much looking forward to welcoming the investment community to the Business Design Centre in London in May”.

There are nine 20 minute pitching slots available on Friday 22nd May 2015 – each consisting of a twelve minute pitch and eight minutes for feedback from the investor panel. The panel will be made up of financiers and investors from a variety of financial backgrounds and geographies. The deadline for applications is Monday 2nd March 2015 and successful companies will be notified 2 weeks later on Monday 16th March 2015. Successful applicants will also receive a complimentary pass to the World Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine Congress, taking place 20th – 22nd May 2015.

For those companies who perhaps aren’t quite yet ready to pitch or who are unsuccessful for one of this year’s nine available slots, Hannah Yates, Conference Manager for World Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine Congress 2015, said that the “meeting will still be a great opportunity to increase your chances of securing funds in the future by sitting in on the pitching session to see how others do it and learn from the expert feedback. There will also be a workshop, hosted by Cell Therapy Catapult, looking more into the 5 key components of a successful pitch and as well as best practices when it comes to successfully pitching your cell therapy.” With special one day rates for the Investor Forum only, it’s an opportunity not to be missed!

To apply to pitch, submit you application here. Otherwise for more information on the Investor Forum, view the brochure here or email Hannah Yates.
